Having just opened their doors on July 1, 2005 THE BLOCK is a tribute to the conceptual prowess of snowboarding pioneer Marc Frank Montoya and Las Vegas hotelier Liko S. Smith. This innovative hotel property is positioned on the southern shores of Big Bear Lake, within one mile of Big Bear Village.

THE BLOCK offers standard guestrooms featuring either one or two king beds, down comforters, snowboard racks, boot dryers/glove warmers, wireless Internet access, Play Station 2's, 56' HDTV's and complimentary Redbull energy Drinks and Pabst Blue Ribbon beers.
